This page (and any other documents that are referred to on it) contains the Terms and Conditions on which we supply any of the products and services listed on our website

Please read these Terms and Conditions before ordering any products or services from our website. You should be aware that by ordering any of our products or services you agree to be bound to these Terms and Conditions. If you have any questions please contact Customer Care before placing an order.

The website is owned, operated and managed by C.J. Jewellery Ltd trading as Christopher Diggle Jewellers.

To further enhance your understanding of the terms we have listed some words that are widely used throughout the document.

Here’s the terminology

Contract - means any purchase of goods from our site between us and you for which these T&C’s are used for. Conditions - means the standard terms and conditions set out in this document, Returns Policy, Repair Guarantee and any special terms and conditions confirmed in writing by us. Goods - means any product or services which we have sold to you in accordance with our T&C’s. We - means C.J. Jewellery Ltd trading as Christopher Diggle Jewellers, and “us” and “our” shall hold the same meaning.

Pricing Policy

All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling and inclusive of VAT. Where Sale prices are quoted, the normal price will have applied either online or in-store for at least 28 consecutive days in the last six months. Where applicable, price may change from time to time. The price for goods remains the same regardless of the country of delivery. Prices quoted prior to invoice are estimates only due to the fluctuation of metal prices and the exact weight of the goods.

We take great care in providing you with the correct product information and prices. In the unlikely case that an error in pricing appears in goods that you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible. However we shall be under no obligation to fulfil an order for a product that was shown at an incorrect price. In such a case we will contact you by email.

Payment

Payment must be made by credit card or debit card or PayPal at the time of placing an order. Payment in full will be taken ay this time and the Terms and Conditions will be in force.

In cooperation with Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden, we offer you the following payment options. Payment is to be made to Klarna:

Description of Products and Availability

We take care to try and ensure the goods and services on our website is as accurate as possible, both in terms of prices and description. All measurements displayed are approximate and any errors will be wholly unintentional. Orders will only be accepted should there be no material errors. We take no responsibility for colours of products not matching the colour displayed on your monitor as this depends entirely on the colour reproduction and capabilities of your screen.

We may make changes to the website at any time without notice or warning.

Delivery

We deliver to Great Britain and Northern Ireland addresses only. At the time of ordering you will be advised of an approximate delivery estimate. Every effort is made to meet this delivery time although on rare occasions we may be unable to deliver your order within the advertised timeframe. Should this happen we will notify you of the delay and offer a revised delivery estimate. Delivery times may also be affected by circumstances beyond our control. 

We send the goods that you have ordered through Royal Mail.

A charge will be made to cover postage and packaging on all orders sent to a single UK mainland address depending on the order value. The delivery charge is separate to the product price. Click & Collect is offered free of charge regardless of order value.

If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let us know promptly, so that we can make a claim against the carrier. We will offer you the choice of a replacement or a full refund. Please see Returns Policy for further details.

Click & Collect

Click & Collect is available on orders placed at www.christopherdiggle.com. The Click and Collect service is provided free of charge. Payment must be made in full by credit or debit card at the time of ordering. The collection date is dependant on the item and stock availability, but will be provided as an 'estimated delivery date' when you place your order. When collecting your order in store, you must show your Photo ID, a copy of your confirmation email and the original card used to pay for the order. We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw the Click & Collect service at our discretion. These terms and conditions are in addition to our general terms and conditions of purchase.

Cancellation

This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example if goods are faulty. Complaints must be registered with us within 14 days of receiving the order. Longer than this may result in the complaint not being upheld or rejected.

We are unable to accept returns on goods that are bespoke items, items that have been altered or personalised in any way, items not normally stocked by Christopher Diggle Jewellers but have been ordered specially at your request or if you have your goods altered, repaired or adjusted by another jeweller or company. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Faulty Goods

We believe that all of our products are of the highest quality and will guarantee everything against manufacturing defects. If there is a problem with the goods please contact us within 14 days.

If the goods are found faulty upon delivery, you may reject the order and claim a full refund once we have received the order back. If the fault is found later on, or if you delay in making the complaint beyond the 14 days specified, you may not be entitled to a repair or replacement. If the complaint is registered with us within the specified time frame, and a replacement is not available, you may claim a part or full refund of your money back if the complaint is deemed valid.

No claim for faulty goods can be made if any of the following applies: damage caused deliberately or negligence, improper use or carless maintenance, normal wear and tear or if you have your goods altered, repaired or adjusted by another jeweller or company.

Returns Process

We hope you love your new purchase, but on the rare occasion it isn’t right we’ll be more than happy to give you a full refund or an exchange in line with our Returns Policy. When returning goods you are required to fill out the Returns Document that we will have included in your order.

We will reimburse the amount you paid for your order with us to the original card used to place your order within 30 days.

In the event that the wrong goods have been sent to you, we will refund the amount you paid for your purchase with us including the original and return delivery charges.

Data Protection

We shall ensure that any processing of data on behalf of the Customer, in order to provide goods requested by the customer, complies with our Privacy Policy.

Copyright

All website content (including text, design, layout, images, and videos), copyright, trademark and other intellectual property rights available when using this website shall remain the property of C.J. Jewellery Ltd or its suppliers. Permission is given to all purchasers to electronically copy and print sections of this site for personal non-commercial use only and for the sole purpose of using this website. Any other use, without the written permission go C.J. Jewellery Ltd, is strictly prohibited.

Liability and Indemnity

Our liability for losses you suffer as a result of us breaking these Terms and Conditions is strictly limited to the purchase price of the goods you purchased. Except as set out above and in relation to our contractual obligations to supply goods and/or services following acceptance of orders placed on our website, neither we nor any of our agents, affiliates, directors, employees or other representatives will be liable in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise for any loss or damage whatsoever in any way connected with your use of the website.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, or consequential loss of whatever nature, including damage to software or hardware, loss of income or revenue, loss of data, damage or loss of business, loss of profits or contracts, loss of anticipated savings, waste of management or office time however arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, even if foreseeable or any other indirect or consequential loss arising out of or in connection with your use of the website (including without limitation, any such loss arising out of or in connection with any order placed on the website, whether or not accepted by us).
